Producer’s Assistant
The Producer’s Assistant works as part of the management team, in close collaboration with the producers. This role is essential to the smooth running of Version 10’s administrative and production processes. We're looking for someone sharp, reliable, and proactive, who takes pride in supporting producers in their day-to-day work. The person in this role must be able to work independently under the supervision of the General Manager.
Responsibilities
Contract Preparation & Follow-up
- Draft service agreements and follow up with clients
- Prepare project progress and closing reports
Accounting & Human Resources
- Track and process supplier payments
- Prepare client quotes
- Issue invoices and follow up on accounts receivable
- Process payments and make check deposits at the bank
- Prepare monthly expense reports for administrators
- Coordinate with our accountant and R&D tax credit analyst
- Manage payroll deposits for salaried employees, prepare employment contracts, and maintain HR records (salaries and group insurance)
General Administrative Tasks
- Welcome visitors
- Answer external calls
- Track company equipment
- Order and manage office supplies
Requirements & Desired Skills
Required:
- College diploma (DEC) or university degree in a relevant field
- Excellent spoken and written French
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Good judgment and a high level of discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of accounting (asset)
- Experience in television or film production (asset)
Working Conditions
- Permanent full-time position (37.5 hours/week)
- Salary: based on experience
- Start date: as soon as possible
