V10 Media Inc. Eco-Responsibility Policy

1. Context 

V10 Media Inc. is committed to producing multiplatform content, including web series, television series, and digital projects, while promoting local creators. Aware of our environmental footprint, we are initiating an eco-responsibility approach to reduce our impact, particularly in transportation, waste management, and on-set food consumption.

This policy aligns with our commitment to implementing sustainable practices and contributing to a more responsible audiovisual industry.

2. Guiding Principles 

We commit to adhering to the following principles:

  • Reducing our carbon footprint by optimizing travel and promoting eco-friendly solutions.
  • Managing resources responsibly by limiting energy consumption and adopting a circular economy approach for sets and costumes.
  • Raising awareness and accountability among all stakeholders through communication and information measures.
  • Collaborating and maintaining transparency with our partners to promote sustainable practices.

3. Scope 

This policy applies to all V10 Media Inc. activities, including:

  • Pre-production: Eco-friendly planning of shoots.
  • Production: Implementing measures to minimize environmental impact.
  • Post-production: Optimizing digital processes to reduce energy consumption.

The individuals concerned include:

  • Employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Partners, suppliers, and distribution venues.

4. Orientations and Concrete Measures

4.1 Transportation and Greenhouse Gases

  • Favoring filming locations accessible by public transport.
  • Implementing a carpooling system and using electric vehicles.
  • Offsetting greenhouse gas emissions generated by travel.

4.2 Waste Management

  • Adopting a clear waste sorting strategy on set (recycling, composting, returnable items).
  • Encouraging source reduction (reusing sets and costumes, sharing props).
  • Training and informing teams on best waste management practices.

4.3 Sustainable Food Practices

  • Prioritizing meals sourced from short supply chains with low environmental impact.
  • Reducing the use of disposable tableware.
  • Encouraging vegetarian alternatives and minimizing food waste.

4.4 Awareness and Communication

  • Including a dedicated eco-responsibility section on our website.
  • Raising awareness among all stakeholders through posters, guides, and presentations during shoots.
  • Integrating a sustainability clause into contracts with suppliers and collaborators.

5. Responsibility and Monitoring 

The implementation of this policy falls under the responsibility of V10 Media Inc.'s management, which will ensure:

  • The execution and adherence to commitments.
  • The monitoring of actions through post-production reports.
  • The annual evaluation and continuous improvement of the policy.

6. Adoption and Revision 

This policy was adopted by Vincent Martel on February 18, 2025, and will take effect immediately. It will be reviewed annually to ensure its effectiveness and relevance.

 

 

This policy will enable V10 Media Inc. to make tangible progress toward a more environmentally friendly audiovisual production, while engaging and educating its teams and partners.
