Radio-Canada wanted to modernize its Expériences platform to strengthen the connection between the brand and its audience, while better reflecting the cultural vitality of Canada’s regions.

Designed to bring people together from coast to coast, the new version of the site now opens to all regions of the country. Each local team can showcase its own events, tours, and workshops, creating a more personalized experience rooted in every territory.

This redesign combines design precision, technical performance, and editorial flexibility. The new interface has been entirely reimagined to align with the visual identity of Radio-Canada’s digital properties: large imagery, dynamic elements, clear typography, and smooth navigation.

The user experience has been enhanced through several new features: a pop-up asks visitors to select their region upon first arrival to tailor the content to their location; new event categories reflect the audience’s interests; an image gallery editor allows teams to build photo albums that foster engagement; and a custom style palette within the CMS gives regional managers greater freedom to shape and enrich their content.

The result is a vibrant, inclusive, and scalable pan-Canadian platform where design and technology work together to bring Radio-Canada closer to its communities, offering audiences a smoother, more accessible, and truly contemporary experience.
